Phenom 300 - Hydraulic
What is the meaning of a HYD SYS FAULT caution message?
The priority valve guarantees hydraulic power to the multi-function spoilers, stick pusher, rudder spring actuator and brakes by restricting flow to the landing gear as necessary during simultaneous operation of the landing gear and any of those users previously mentioned. In this case, the landing gear will operate through the accumulator pressure.
When displayed in yellow the digital pressure indicates a cautionary operating range equal or below:

An hydraulic system accumulator is provided to supply additional flow demand during:
The accumulator is a cylindrical separated-piston type with oil chamber and gas chamber isolated one from the other. A sliding piston maintains the gas and the fluid at equal pressure and prevents loss or transfer of either.
The system reservoir is integrated with the hydraulic manifold equipped with two temperature switches that sense the reservoir fluid temperature, two pressure switches which are responsible for the pump automatic mode, and a pressure transducer which gives a continuous indication of the pressure in the hydraulic circuit.
A reservoir visual level indication is provided for fluid quantity checking.
The system uses a synthetic hydrocarbon-base hydraulic fluid and operates at a nominal pressure of 2800 psig.
The system uses a synthetic hydrocarbon-base hydraulic fluid and operates at a nominal pressure of 3000 psig.
The system prevents the fire shutoff valves (FSOV) from being manually opened through its shutoff switches if a low or high temperature condition exists.
Both fire shutoff valves (FSOV) automatically close in case of hydraulic system high temperature condition. Each fire shutoff valve can be manually closed through the engine fire extinguisher shutoff buttons 1 and 2 on the engine fire extinguisher panel, or through the shutoff switches 1 and 2 on the hydraulic pump panel.
Two fire shutoff valves (FSOV) are part of the hydraulic system, one associated to each engine driven pump (EDP) and powered by the electrical:
Switches are incorporated to indicate the valve is either fully opened or fully closed.
