What does it mean?
The rain repellent improves visibility in heavy rain conditions. This is done by spraying rain repellent fluid on the surface of the windshield.
A RAIN RPLNT pb, on the left and on the right sides of the overhead panel, controls the application of repellent fluid on the respective Captain or First Officer's windshield.
