The TBM 850 is a higher-performance version of the TBM 700 manufactured between 2008 and 2012 (338 aircraft). The TBM 850 is fitted with a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-66D engine, rated at 850 hp in flight (700 hp at take-off). Three variants exist: the standard TBM850, the TBM 850 G1000 (with a G1000 Integrated Flight Deck and a fuel tank extension modification) and the TBM 850 Elite including four cabin seats in a forward-facing configuration, allowing for an increased cargo area aft of the cabin.
Maximum cruise speed of the TBM 850 is set at 317 KTAS at FL 260.
